Will it defeat an angle grinder?

No lock is 100% grinder-proof. However, the Scoot-Boot’s alarm detects grinder vibrations instantly, blasting a 110dB siren. It strips away the thief's "privacy", creating immediate public danger for them and forcing them to flee.

Do I still need a U-lock or chain?

For quick stops where there is no rack, the Scoot-Boot is a perfect solution. For high-risk or overnight parking, experts recommend "layering." Use a lower-strength U-lock or chain to tether your frame, and let the Scoot-Boot's active alarm aggressively guard the bike as a whole.

How do I carry it while riding?

We have developed two mounting solutions: a sleek vertical mount and an innovative "any-position" bracket to fit any frame geometry. As a Founding 100 member, you will receive exclusive, heavily discounted access to these mounts when your Scoot-Boot ships.

When am I charged & what if I cancel?
